Along the bank of the river Vah we get to Liptovsky Mikulas from where we continue with ascent to village of Veterna Poruba. From now, next 15 kilometers follow up an down passages like in the roller coaster leading across dusty roads and paths between lovely meadows. This is followed by forest passage.
At the end of this passage we downhill to village of Kvacany and reach the mouth of well-known Kvacianska Valley. Here awaits us rocky sections and narrow paths of this valley, but the effort spent on this climb will be payed off by awesome views on the rocky walls and water mills located in the valley.
As we reach the most tourist interesting part of this valey – water mills, we continue to crossroads and turn left, follows 2 kilometer climb on a rocky path and we reach village Velke Borove. Through a old asphalt road we transfer to small mountain village Huty from where we enter Kvacianska Valley from the other side. In the front of us is 7 kilometer long downhill section and then via side roads pass villages Benusovce, Liptovsky Trnovec and we join cycling path in Liptovsky Mikulas.
Along this path and main road we get back to Liptovsky Jan. Today 65 kilometers and 900 climbed meters. Nice route for intermediate-trained cyclists.

In this route, we don’t even leave Liptovský Ján and we find ourselves in Jánská Valley, which we climb 11 kilometers until we find ourselves on Svidovské Saddle. Along the way, we pass a crossroads with the Stanišovská Valley, where there is also a cave of the same name open to the public. Further in the valley we can find a waterfall and beautiful formations of the limestone mountains of the Low Tatras.
In the last part of the ascent we pass Cottage “Pred Bystrou” where the last point of civilization ends, from here we are already in the wilderness. On the top of Svidovské Saddle, we will stop for a moment and enjoy the views of the surrounding mountains. After a break we can continue with downhill to the Svidovská Valley.
As we reach the mouth of the Svidovska Valley, we continue on a main road to the Cottage Red Corner. Here we can stop for a lunch break or continue next behind the cottage and make a circruit behind villages Dovalovo and Hybe. As the end of this circruit we get here again and continue by the main road to Liptovsky Hradok, and then back to Liptovsky Jan.

From our startpoint in Liptovský Ján we pass several surrounding villages and on field roads we will ride more than 50 kilometers. The route is suitable also for less trained cyclists and people who have gravel and trekking bikes. The terrain is mainly paved, gravel, but only with limited number of asphalt roads. We explore the awesome nooks of the surroundings and on the roads crossing flowering meadows we will enjoy a lot of fun and dozens of awesom viewpoints.

This route is short but all the more interesting. However, it can be combined with another routes if you will not have enough.
From Liptovský Ján we get along a field road to Závažná Poruba and from there we enter the forest and ride down a forest path down to the village of Iľanovo. From here we continue through the Iľanovská Valley. Here we have an 8-kilometer climb, which starts with an asphalt road, then passes into a paved forest road and at the end we follow a hiking trail.
At the end of the climb we find ourselves on a Saddle “Pod Kúpeľom”. From here we continue down the green-marked tourist path to the Rakytovica Saddle. This is followed by a short climb and further along the green-marked tourist until the Liptovký Ján.
From the end of the Iľanovská Valley to Liptovský Ján, the route leads along hiking trails, so this route is recommended mainly for experiencet MTB cyclists, because it is technically demanding.

This route will lead us to the hill Smrekovica and along the ridge of the hills we get through the tourist hiking path we get to the Stanišovské Saddle and hill Brtkovica, then through valley of Michalovo and lovely meadows we get back to the start.
Let start in Liptovsky Jan and along the forest road under the Kastielske Lazy hill we enter the forest near the river Vah. By the singletrail we ascend to the area Vislavce. We turn right and continue in climb right ti the top of the hill Smrekovica. The climb has 8 kilometers in total and begins with steep singletrail, but then follows wide forest road and the climb ends on tourist path.
As we get to the top of the hill Smrekovica, we downhill along the tourist red path. After three kilometers we reach Stanišovské Saddle and then Hill Brtkovica. Near the route we can stop by and look at former partisan bunkers.
From this point we continue down the valley Michalovo. At the mouth of the valley we turn left and continue along the main road to the village Kralova Lehota. In the front of the village we turn left and continue through the road under the forest to the village of Liptovská Porúbka.
Behind the town of Liptovský Hrádok we enter the forest near the recreational area Borová Sihoť and via the village of Podtureň we get back to Liptovský Ján.
